Brome Lake Books in collaboration with Café Three Pines and sponsored by the University of Toronto Press (UTP), presented Michael Finnerty in conversation with Louise Penny, on the evening of April 25, 2026, talking about his new book:  The Cheese Cure.

In front of a standing room only crowd, Michael and Louise talked about his journey from a renowned journalist and radio presenter, through a life-changing sabbatical, that finally brought him to the historical halls of Borough Market filled with cheese-borne wisdom, and eccentric characters. It is a tale that is both gripping as it is heartfelt.

And if Michael's story wasn't tasty enough in the telling, there was cheese to savour. A delightful evening from beginning to end. "Say Cheese!" everyone.
