Louise Penny book launch at the Haskell Free Library and Opera House
Miss Wolcott's Ghost
On October 20, 2026 Louise Penny launched her 21st book of her Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series, to a sold out crowd at the Haskell Free Library and Opera House, in Stanstead Quebec. Miss Wolcott's Ghost takes readers back to Three Pines, where Chief Inspector Gamache investigates a bizarre murder in an abandoned settlement called Lost Nation. Louise was in conversation with Danny McAuley of Brome Lake Books, and although little was revealed with respect to the plot, the conversation was lively and funny, with something for everyone.
